About Me

Hi y'all,

I'm Lasheca Earls and for years I've been doing custom projects and designing home accessories to personalize my space. I guess I should rewind back even further, since I was a little girl decorating a room was one of the things that made me happiest. I can distinctly recall each phase of my bedroom decor over my adolescence: canopy bed, strawberry shortcake, lavender unicorns, dying our purple carpet black, tearing out a mini bar to make room for a walk in closet...you get where I'm going. As much as the remember the little details I remember how elated I was that my mother let me be a part of the decorating process. I loved my baby dolls but more than playing house with the actual doll I felt the need to make their "baby doll bedrooms" beautiful! From that point forward I knew I wanted to make things pretty.

Despite the fact of always knowing what my passion was I obtained a bachelors degree in business and thought I'd get back to what made me happy some other way, the time just never seemed right. Design school had always been a part of the plan but we all know how plans go. Fast forward some years and I was accepted to Moore College of Art and design and relocating to Philadelphia, PA from Baton Rouge, LA. However, I regretfully declined their offer of admission due to personal reasons but that didn't have to mean giving up.

Now here we are, I've been in Philly for over 2 years and I still have this hankering to make things pretty. This blog is my attempt to satisfy that creative itch and try to live out that dream I've had since I was little girl.  I possess a love for color, pattern, texture, and graphics and I'd like to share my love with the world. Join me on this journey as I attempt to build a brand. Along the way I'll give tips, tricks, and tutorials in an attempt to inspire you to have a hand in making your space a reflection of your personality.
